David’s background includes setting up Halcyon, which under his management became one of the largest, most reputable and successful fund management firms in the Eastern European region. Prior to Halcyon, David was director of the regional office of Brunswick Capital Management, head of the regional office of Unifund, partner at Pharos Funds and Vice President at Credit Suisse First Boston.
David holds a BA from Harvard University.

Irina Marina
Irina has led Halcyon real estate projects since 2012. She is responsible for the day-to-day management of funds investing in residential and commercial property in Cyprus and other parts of Europe.
Irina joined Halcyon in 2006 as an analyst. Prior to that, Irina worked as a financial advisor for a private retail company where she was responsible for financial planning of the company’s expansion program.
Irina holds a BSc in Economics from Lomonosov Moscow State University.

Natalia Merenkova
Natalia is in charge of financial planning, managing financial risks and record-keeping of the group’s accounts. Her responsibilities include cash management, preparing firm budget and overlooking its implementation, maintaining bank relationships. She also supervises all back-office operations.
Prior to joining Halcyon, she worked for ING Bank (Eurasia) as an officer of client operations’ executive department.
Natalia holds a specialist degree from the Plekhanov Russian Academy of Economics.

Head of Compliance
Mark Lennon
Mark joined the team in 2014 to provide compliance and anti-money laundering expertise to the company. He has over 25 years of experience within the financial industry and has gained considerable regulatory experience throughout his career, having a role as Director of Compliance and Head of Compliance at major financial institutions in London.
Mark is a graduate and postgraduate in monetary economics from the London School of Economics. He is also a chartered accountant, having qualified with Ernst & Young in London.

Gregory Vovk
Gregory is responsible for informational security of the company. He joined Halcyon in 2007 as Head of Information Technology Department.
Prior to joining Halcyon, he worked first as an SQL database system engineer, and then as a CIO in several private companies.
Gregory has completed MBA CIO at Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration.

Elena Krylovetskaya
Elena oversees projects in sectors apart from real estate, including innovative assets and education.
Previously Elena was the portfolio manager of a fund investing in innovative assets, where she was responsible for research and portfolio management. Elena began her career in Halcyon as an analyst for the fund investing in traded equities in 2015.
Elena holds a MSc in Financial Economics from Lomonosov Moscow State University.

Andreas is a seasoned professional with a strong background in finance and banking. With extensive experience in business development, operations management, and customer relations, he has excelled in various roles throughout his career. Andreas has held positions such as Director at Vergina Trust Ltd and Chief Operations Officer at Mutual Trust Limited. He has also demonstrated his expertise as the Head of the Moscow Representative Office for Hellenic Bank Public Company Ltd.
Andreas holds a Master's degree in Accounting & Finance and is fluent in Greek, English, Czech, and Russian. Outside of work, he enjoys activities like CrossFit and scuba diving.

Yana Paraskevopoulou
Yana is our Head of Investor Relations and Business Development. Her responsibilities include on-boarding new clients, managing existing relationships, collating and circulating investor reports, liaising with fund service providers. She is also involved in marketing, being responsible for the social media pages and press relations, liaising with gatekeepers and third-party marketers.
She holds a BA with honours in Linguistics from the Moscow New Humanities University.

Gabit represents Halcyon in the United Kingdom. Besides that, he has been partnering with Halcyon on several projects in such sectors as education and innovative assets.
Gabit has vast experience in education, which includes board and management roles at Educator.com and National Schools of Physics & Math. In addition, he has consulted governments, UHNW individuals, and non-profits on their impact projects. His investment experience includes research and management roles at Compass Asset Management and Simoleon Long Term Value.
